Invitation to apply for 2017 Subsidy project to support overseas companies investing in Fukushima Prefecture

※Renewed call for applications. The maximum subsidy amount will be adjusted to 10 million yen for the current fiscal year.

　福島県では、「医療関連産業」「再生可能エネルギー関連産業」 「ロボット関連産業」の３つについて、 復興をリードする成長産業と位置付け、 関連企業の集積を進めております。 当該産業いずれかに従事する外資系企業の皆様に、本県への進出を 御検討いただくため、「平成２９年度外資系進出企業投資支援事業補助金」の募集を開始いたします。 　

Fukushima Prefecture positions the “Medical industry”, “Renewable energy industry” and “Robot industry” as growing industries that lead the revitalization, promoting to cluster relevant industries.  For overseas companies engaged in any of the above-mentioned industries, we have started to invite applications to the “2017 Subsidy project to support overseas companies investing in Fukushima Prefecture” for their advancement into the prefecture.

　福島県内に初めて事業所等 （製造、研究開発、販売、調査のいずれか１つ以上を行う施設）の設置をお考えの皆様におかれましては、 ぜひ御検討いただきますようお願いいたします。   

We request any company that is planning a business establishment, (facilities aimed for more than one business out of manufacturing, R&D, marketing or research) in the prefecture for the first time to consider this subsidy project.

 １　補助金交付申請受付期間

 1. Duration to accept application for granting of subsidy

※　継続事業者と新規事業者とで期間が異なりますので、御注意ください。

※ Please note the difference of duration between consecutive entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs

（１）平成２８年度以前からの継続事業者　　平成２９年３月１日（水）～３月７日（火）

（１）Consecutive entrepreneurs that started the project concerned before 2016: Wednesday, March 1, 2017 to Tuesday, March 7, 2017

（２）平成２９年度新規事業者　　　　　　　平成２９年7月１9日（水）～１２月２８日（木）

 (2)  New entrepreneurs :  Wednesday, July 19 to Thursday December 28, 2017

　当補助金事業については募集を一時停止していましたが、一定規模の予算を確保しましたので募集を再開します（平成２９年７月１９日から受付開始）。なお、募集再開にあたって、平成２９年度７月以降の申請企業につきましては、予算残額との関係から、平成２９年度補助対象期間（交付決定日～平成３０年３月３１日）における１社当たりの補助上限額を１０，０００千円とさせていただきます（下記の２８，０００千円ではありませんので、ご注意ください）。

The call for applications for the subsidy support project was closed temporarily; however, after guaranteeing a limited budget, we are once again accepting applications. (Application review begins July 19 2017.) Due to budgetary requirements, the maximum subsidy amount for applications from July from companies in FY 2017 will be adjusted to 10 million yen per company for the FY 2017 subsidy eligibility period (From the date of decision to grant the subsidy to Saturday, March 31 2018). (Please note, the 28 million yen stated below no longer applies). 

※　上記期間は、予算等の都合により変更する場合があります。なお、交付決定の総額が予算総額に達した場合は期間中であっても募集を終了します。

※ Above durations may change due to budgetary matters. In the case the total amount of grant money reaches the total budget, we close the invitation to application though amid of the duration for application.

２　対象企業　※下記は主な要件です。

2. Companies invited  ※ Following are the main requirements.

（１）外資系企業（出資金の割合の２分の１以上が外国企業又は外国投資家である法人）であること

(1)  To be an overseas company (More than half of the stake is provided by overseas companies or corporations which are foreign investors) 　

（２）「医薬品関連産業」、「医療機器関連産業」、「再生可能エネルギー関連産業」、「ロボット関連産業」のいずれか１つ以上を営む企業であること（製品/部品/技術提供は問いません）

(2) To be a company which operates more than one businesses among “Medical industry”, “Medical device industry”, “Renewable energy industry”, and “Robot industry” (without regard to products, parts or technology provision)

（３）福島県内に初めて事業所等（製造、研究開発、販売、調査のいずれか１つ以上を行う施設）を設置しようとする企業であること  他

(3) To be a company planning a business establishment (a facility that conducts more than one businesses among manufacturing, R&D, marketing or research) for the first time in the prefecture, and others.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

３　補助上限額及び補助率

3. Upper limit of subsidy and subsidy rate

（１）補助上限額　年間２８，０００千円

(1) Upper limit of subsidy: 28 million yen/year

（２）補助率　３／４以内

(2) Subsidy rate: within three quarters 3/4

４　主な補助対象経費

4. Main expenses for subsidy

（１）県内設置の事業所等の賃借料、光熱水費

(1)  Rent and utility cost for the business establishment located in the prefecture　

（２）県内進出に直接必要な外部コンサルタントへの委託料

(2)  Cost for commission to external consultant directly required for advancement into the prefecture

（３）日本法人設立や登記、従業員の在留資格取得に要する経費

(3) Cost for establishment and registration of Japanese corporation and cost required to obtain employees’ status of residence

（４）年間５００万円までの県内新規雇用分の人件費  他

(4) Labor cost for newly employed persons up to 5 million yen per year, and others.
